A search and rescue operation not seen since Hurricane Katrina in 2005 is underway in the biggest State of America, Texas today.
Hundreds of thousands of people have been dislodged from their homes right across the State with Houston being worst affected.
President Donald Trump has visited the State and will be back on Saturday to ensure that the Texan authorities have all the resources they need.
Heavy rains have produced up to 26 inches of rain and the problem persists of major flooding as the weather still hasn’t improved and some people will be out of their homes for weeks.
