A male in his 20s has died following a road crash in an Irish county on New Year’s Day.
The incident happened on the R194 road between Granard and Balinalee in Co. Longford. The car was found partially submerged. The deceased was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
This is the fifth fatality on Irish roads in the last three days.
