Gardaí in Dublin have confirmed that a 22-year-old man has died following a shooting incident this evening.
It is understood the man died at Beaumont Hospital after being shot six times at approximately 5:15pm this evening.
Gardaí say the scene at Clonshaugh Avenue remains sealed off and investigations are currently ongoing.
