
A man who undressed completely in the middle of a town in County Donegal and “shook his private parts” at members of the public has faced a court hearing, reports Breaking News.
This unusual event occurred in Letterkenny on May 5th of the previous year.
The man, currently in his 30s, cannot be identified at this point in the legal proceedings.
He faced multiple charges during his appearance at Letterkenny District Court, reports Breaking News.
He is accused of committing an act against public decency by undressing in Castle Street, Letterkenny, exposing his genitalia to bystanders, and then grabbing and shaking it inappropriately, causing distress to those present.
The charge falls under Section 5 of the Summary Jurisdiction (Ireland) Amendment Act of 1871, reports Breaking News.
Living in Letterkenny, the man is also charged with several related offenses that occurred that night.
He is charged with failing to give his name and address to the police, as well as being drunk and disorderly.
Additionally, he is accused of assaulting a man on Castle Street in Letterkenny, reports Breaking News.
On the same night, he is charged with damaging a door at the Brewery Bar located at Market Square in Letterkenny.
The defendant remained silent during the brief court session.
Judge Eiteain Cunningham postponed the case until February 10th, 2025, reports Breaking News.
