On the outskirts of Tralee, County Kerry, a man in his 60s fell from his electric bicycle and is in critical condition at the hospital, reports RTE.
The incident near Bracker O’Regan Road occurred at around 12.45am Sunday morning. There was no other car involved.
When rescue personnel got on the scene, the man was unconscious, reports RTE.
For treatment, he was brought to University Hospital Kerry. It is acknowledged that he is in a critical state.
After being inspected by gardaÃ, the road where the incident occurred is now available to traffic.
The Gardaà are requesting witnesses, reports RTE.
