
An elderly pedestrian has died after being struck by a car in Co. Louth. It’s believed the man was aged in his 80s.

The incident happened at the junction between West St and Dominic St in Drogheda this afternoon.
The victim, a male in his 80s, was rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
