Gardai in Dublin have begun an investigation after a man aged in his 20s was taken to hospital with serious injuries following an assault over the weekend.
It is understood that the man was hospitalised following an at O’Rourke Park, in Sallynoggin, at approximately 1:50am on Sunday morning.
Gardai say a man aged in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the incident and was taken to Dun Laoghaire Garda Station for questioning.
