GardaĆ in Co Waterford have sadly confirmed that a man aged in his 20s has died following a road traffic incident on Monday evening.
It is understood the man was killed after the car he was driving collided with a wall at OāKeeffeās Cross in Dunhill, at approximately 6pm on Monday evening.
GardaĆ say the man was the sole occupant of the vehicle and he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
They added that his body has since been transferred to University Waterford Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will take place.
