Gardaí in Co Sligo have sadly confirmed that a man aged in his 40s has died following a road traffic collision.
It is understood the man was killed after the vehicle he was travelling in collided with a truck on the N4 road between Castlebaldwin and Collooney at approximately 12pm.
Gardaí say the man was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
