Gardaí in Dublin have launched an investigation after a man aged in his 50s was seriously injured following a stabbing incident on Thursday night.
It is understood the investigation comes after the man was attacked and stabbed near the Ashlawn Park area of Ballybrack at approximately 10:15pm.
Gardaí say the man was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
They added that no arrests have yet been made and an investigation is currently ongoing.
