A man aged in his 70s has been hospitalised following a two vehicle collision in Co Mayo.
It is understood the man sustained a serious head injury during crash which occurred near Ballintubber, at 9am on Saturday morning.
Gardaí say drivers of both vehicles were taken to Mayo University Hospital following the incident.
They added that an investigation into the crash is currently ongoing.
