Gardaí in Co Kerry have confirmed that a man has been airlifted to hospital after suffering serious injuries whilst walking in Carrantuoohil.
According to RTÉ News, the alarm was raised after the man got into difficulties Devil’s Ladder area at approximatley 11:30am this morning.
It is understood that the an Irish Coast Guard helicopter was called into assist emergency services.
The man has since been taken to Kerry General Hospital.
