Gardaí are holding a man after they received reports of him acting threateningly in Dublin’s city centre, reports Breaking News.
Following an altercation in the Parnell Square area on Tuesday, the man, who is in his 30s, was taken into custody for suspected breaches under the Firearms and breaches Weapons Act.
The man is still being held at a city Garda station, reports Breaking News.
No injuries were recorded from the event, said to Gardaí.
Regular patrols in the region have been carried out by officers, and they stated that they will continue, reports Breaking News.
