Gardaí in Co Cork have confirmed that a man aged in his 40s has been arrested following the discovery of €20,000 worth of cannabis herb in Mallow.
It is understood the discovery was made during a routine stop and search of a vehicle in the Quartertown Upper area.
The discovery was made at approximately 11pm on Friday night.
Gardaí say a man has been arrested and is currently being questioned at Mallow Garda Station.
