A man in his 20s has been arrested after failing to stop at a garda checkpoint in County Cork over the weekend.
The driver of a tractor towing a slurry tank did not stop when directed at a checkpoint near Whitegate on Saturday afternoon, reports RTE.
He was followed by GardaÃ, who said he then drove dangerously, swerving into oncoming traffic and putting other road users at risk.
The vehicle was eventually brought to a halt and the driver was taken into custody, reports RTE.
He has since been charged with several road traffic offences and is scheduled to appear before Midleton District Court on Thursday morning, reports RTE.
