Gardai in Carlow have arrested a man after two men were stabbed during an incident on Sunday evening.
It is understood the man’s arrest comes after two men aged in their 40s and 50s respectively sustained injuries following the incident which occurred on Montgomery Street.
Gardai say both men were taken to St Luke’s hospital where they remain in stable condition.
They added that a man has been arrested in connection with the incident and he has since been taken to Carlow Garda Station for questioning.
