A man has been arrested following an aggravated burglary in an Irish village over the weekend.
It is understood that a man broke into a house in the village of Askeaton in Co. Limerick early on Sunday morning and threatened the resident with a knife.
The intruder, a man in his 30s, was arrested near the property a short time later.
