Gardaí in Co Mayo have arrested a man following the discovery of woman’s body near Westport.
The man’s arrest comes after the body of a woman aged in her 40s was discovered at a house in Kilbree, on Friday.
Gardaí say a man has been arrested in connection with the incident and he is currently being detained at Castlebar Garda Station.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
