A businessman and tv host has died while attempting to beat Britain’s land speed record on an airfield in Yorkshire.

Zef Eisenberg was driving a Porsche 911 Turbo S on Elvington Airfield in North Yorkshire when he lost control of the vehicle, according to CNN. The 47 year old had previously set over 70 speed records on bikes, cars, and quads. It is understood he died trying to beat the British land speed record for a vehicle made by Tony Densham in 1970 at 207.6 miles per hour.

In 2016 he’d been involved in another crash at the same airfield, which is popular with Motorsports enthusiasts. Top Gear’s Richard Hammond was left with minor brain damage after crashing at 300 mph at Elvington in 2006.

Eisenberg, who was based in Guernsey, is survived by his partner and two children.
