A 75-year-old Israeli man has died of a heart attack just hours after he was administered a Covid-19 vaccine.
The death led to fears that the vaccine could bring on sever adverse reactions but the Jerusalem Post has reported that the man had a history of heart disease and had a number of heart attacks in the past.
The Israeli Health Ministry confirmed that a man was vaccinated against coronavirus on December 28 and died in a few hours at home but stressed that the preliminary check did not detect the connection between death and vaccination.
However, the cause of the heart attack and death still to be established.
The vaccine with which the deceased man was inoculated was not specified but both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are used in Israel.
