A man threatened staff at a newsagents on the Longmile Road with a knife last night, then fled the scene and got onto a Dublin Bus heading towards the city centre.
Gardai chased the vehicle, which eventually came to a halt on James’ Street, and the man was arrested.
He is due in court tomorrow morning, charged in connection with the incident.
