The homeless man who was tragically found dead in Dublin city centre earlier this week has been named as Alan Murphy.
Mr Murphy who was in his mid 30s, was found dead early Friday morning and is understood to have originally come from Co Kildare.
He was found dead at Dawson Lane, near the Dáil on Friday at about 7am.
He had been sleeping in the area.
A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out, with a file to be sent to the Coroner’s Court.
