Gardai have launched an investigation after a man died in hospital shortly after being found unconscious in a Dublin street.
It is understood that passers-by spotted the body in the Foster Place of the capital earlier today.
The man was taken to St. James’ Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
A post-mortem examination will determine the course of the investigation.
