The national forecaster is predicting a marked drop in temperatures over the next few days as winter begins to bite.
Sunday night will see lows of 0C in some areas around the midlands, with overnight temperatures of 3-4C elsewhere.
Monday will begin cold and misty, giving way to a mostly dry day with temperatures of up to 12C.
