Gardaí in Co Kerry have confirmed that a man aged in his 50s has been hospitalised after the aircraft he was flying in collided with a power line.
It is understood the man was taken to University Hospital Kerry following the incident which occurred at approximately 1pm this afternoon.
Gardaí say the say man sustained non-life threatening injuries.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
