A man has been taken to hospital after he was struck by a car that mounted a footpath in Co Tipperary this afternoon.
It is reported that the man was rushed to hospital after he was struck by a car that mounted the pavement on Gladstone Street, Clonmel, at approximately 3pm.
Although his condition is not yet known, it is believed that he suffered serious injuries following the incident.
Meanwhile the driver of the vehicle was uninjured in the incident and an investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
