A man who drove more than three times the speed limit and led gardaí on a high-speed pursuit only exited his car when officers brandished their weapons, reports Breaking News.
Before he started driving in the direction of Sergeant Daniel Cuffe, who had arrived at the car to help Kian Andrews, 20, get out of it, he crashed into two garda cars.
Even after the garda cars had surrounded Andrews’ car to stop him from driving any farther, he would not get out. Andrews started the automobile, revved the motor, and drove towards Sgt. Cuffe after four officers had surrounded it, reports Breaking News.
Andrews, of O’Rourke Park, Sallynoggin, Dublin, entered a guilty plea to endangerment, reckless driving, and small-scale narcotics possession before the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
According to Breaking News, he has had 12 convictions.
