There was some tragic news announced late last night as a young man in his 20s who was the victim of a brutal assault in Dublin on Thursday night sadly died at St James Hospital.
The young man tragically died as a result of his injuries he received when he was assaulted by a gang in Cow’s Lane at approximately 8.45pm Thursday evening . It is believed the young man died after he sustained a serious head injury after he was punched by one of his attackers.
The man was subsequently rushed St James’s Hospital where never recovered from his injuries and died last night. It is thought the disgraceful attack was filmed by a bunch onlookers who witnessed the assault.
Gardai say they have since arrested three men and they are currently being detained at Pearse Street and Irishtown garda stations.
