A man in his 40s has died following an assault in the capital.
The incident happened in the Ashfield Park area of Blanchardstown on Monday afternoon.
Three people, a woman and two men, were taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital. One of the men was pronounced dead a short time later. It is understood that this person had sustained stab wounds.
