A man in his 60s had to be airlifted to hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a farm accident.
The incident happened on Saturday morning, at Looscaun near Woodford, Co. Galway. According to sources, the man became trapped in farm machinery.
He was airlifted to University Hospital Limerick first, then transferred to University Hospital Galway.
His condition has not been disclosed.
