A man in his 60s has passed away after getting into difficulties while swimming in an Irish county.
The incident happened at Derryounce Lake in Portarlington, Co. Laois, on Saturday afternoon.
The man was taken to Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise, where he was pronounced dead.
