Gardai in Co Louth have sadly confirmed that a man injured in a road traffic incident over the weekend has passed away in hospital.
It is understood that the man aged in his 20s was injured following a collision on the N2 at Edmondstown on Saturday evening.
Gardai say the man passed away at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
