A man in his 30s is fighting for his life this afternoon, after a stabbing incident in the Coote St. area of Portlaoise earlier today.
It is understood that the man received serious injuries to his abdomen. He was rushed to Midland Regional Hospital for treatment before being transferred to St. Vincent’s hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
