Man on a ledge in Dublin, causes traffic to standstill

An incident that occurred on Dublin’s Dame street this morning had caused traffic to standstill in the area.

It is understood that Gardaí had to cordon off the areas of College Green and Dame Street where it is believed that a man took to the ledge on the roof of the old Ulster Bank building.

Dublin Fire Brigade and ambulance crews were called to the scene. As Large crowds of onlookers had gathered around the Garda cordon. Cars had to be  diverted at Dame Street and D’Olier Street.

It is understood that the incident has now since been revolved, and that traffic is now returning to normal in the area.
