A man remains in a critical condition in hospital after he was violently assaulted on board a ship that had been sailing off the Co Donegal coast.
Gardaí in Killybegs are currently investigating the incident, which took place yesterday morning.
The injured man was brought to Sligo General hospital but has since been transferred to Galway University Hospital.
