A man has been placed in isolation at Cork University Hospital after reportedly presenting with symptoms similar to those of the Coronavirus it has been reported.
According to The Irish Sun newspaper, the man aged in his 20s who recently returned to Ireland from China was placed in isolation after presenting with symptoms.
The Irish Sun reports that the man was assessed at the Medical Assessment Unit and was later placed in isolation.
It is understood tests have been carried out and medical personnel are currently awaiting the results.
