Gardai in Co Monaghan has sadly passed away following a road traffic collision.
It is understood the man aged in his 20s died following a two vehicle collision on the R181 at Muldrumman, just outside Castleblayney.
Gardai say the injured man was taken to Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where he sadly passed away.
Gardai say an investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
