Gardai in Dublin have confirmed that a man has died following a road traffic collision this afternoon.
It is understood that the man aged in his 40s was killed after the car he was driving crashed into a wall on the Skerries to Lusk Road at Milverton.
Gardai say the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene and his body was later taken to Connolly Hospital.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
