Gardai in Co Louth have confirmed that a man aged in his 50s has sadly died following a road traffic collision.
It is understood that the man was killed after the car he was travelling in collided with a lorry and another car on the N53 at Rassan near Hackballscross at approximately 10.30am this morning.
Gardai say the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
