The man shot in the head in farmland near Tallaght passes away in hospital.
35-year-old man Keith Conlon was shot on Wednesday as he hunted rabbits with his dog. It is understood that the row that led to the shooting might have involved the dog. The animal was also shot dead.
A man was arrested in connection with the incident.
