Man shot twice in Dublin this evening

A 27-year-old man has reportedly been shot in Dublin this evening.

The incident happened on Shancastle Drive, Clondalkin, shortly before 9pm.

It is understood the man was hit twice, in the arm and leg. The shooting is not thought to be gangland-related.

The man was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown, and his injuries are described as non life-threatening.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Ronanstown Garda Station on 01-666 7700, the Garda Confidential Line 1 800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
