According to reports this afternoon a climber has been taken to hospital after suffering a suspected heart attack on Croagh Patrick.
It is understood the victim believed to be a man is in serious condition in hospital after he suffered chest pains whist climbing the 700m high Mayo mountain.
It is believed 25,000 took part for the annual Reek Sunday Pilgrimage.
