Gardaí have confirmed that a young man has been hospitalised following a road traffic incident on Sunday evening.
It is understood the man aged in his early 20s was taken to hospital after he was struck by a lorry on Lower Abbey Street at approximately 8pm last night.
Gardaí say the cyclist was hit near the Luas track which resulted in a delay in services.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
