Gardaí in Bandon made a rather unusual discovery whilst carrying out a routine traffic stop recently.
In a bizarre discovery Gardai were left mystified when they found that a driver of a van was using a spoon in the vehicle’s ignition.
The discovery which has led to Gardaí to poke fun on Twitter, came after they stopped the vehicle which had no tax or certificate of road worthiness.
It is expected that the motorist will appear in court after they seized the vehicle.
Bandon Gardai stopped this van at a fork in the road beacuse it had no tax/certificate of roadworthiness and a spoon for a ignition key. Van was seized and a court date for the driver. You could cut the tension with a knife. pic.twitter.com/YhtLU6jxuK
