The perpetrator of yesterday’s attack inside a passenger train in Switzerland has reportedly died of his injuries.
The attacker was only identified as a 27-year-old Swiss man. He stabbed six people and then set a carriage alight using a flammable fluid as accelerator, suffering serious burns in the process.
A 34-year-old woman had earlier died of her wounds in a hospital, while three others remain in a critical condition.
Police have not yet been able to establish a motive for the attack, but seem to have ruled out any links to extremist organizations.
