A large manhunt is underway in Dublin today, after a prisoner escaped from custody while attending a medical appointment at St James’s Hospital.
The wayward prisoner, a 22-year-old man serving a 10-year sentence, was seen running out of the A&E department, then fled up James’ Street with four prison officers in pursuit.
