Family, friends and activists for the Stardust tragedy took to the streets of Dublin today to finally once and for all get some answers for the loss they experienced when their loved ones lost their lives in 1981.
48 mostly young people lost their lives when a fire broke out in the Stardust disco which incredulously saw exit doors and fire escapes locked, trapping those inside.
The people marching today, including musician Christie Moore, delivered 48,000 postcards, 1,000 per victim to the Attorney General demanding answers.
It’s understood that the Attorney General will consider the groups request in the coming days.
