The Taoiseach Micheal Martin has announced that people will not have to prove that they have been vaccinated in order to return to the office.
Martin gave an update on requirements at the National Show Centre in Swords where vaccinations are ongoing.
Martin said that said that the return to the office was about a return to people’s livelihoods and that they would not be making a distinction between those who were and were not vaccinated.
He said that vaccines are voluntary and that many people have voluntarily taken them. Saying that he didn’t know what was coming in the weeks ahead in relation to more easing and the Delta variant, Martin said that the government would continue as it is for now.
