Martin tested positive after one of his delegates tested positive earlier on Wednesday afternoon.
He missed out, for a second successive year, on meeting a President in the White House.
Although they held a ridiculous virtual backslapping event, insiders say that Martin is said to be absolutely gutted that he couldn’t meet his hero in person. He really was looking forward to it and because Leo Varadkar is due to get his turn at becoming Taoiseach again at the end of the year, Martin will more than likely never, ever get his turn in the White House.
