The Taoiseach Micheal Martin is reportedly facing growing pressure as a group of party members are calling for him to be replaced as party leader.
According to The Irish Independent, the group of Fianna Fail members from Slane, Co Meath, are calling for change as they feel they need someone who will lead the way forward.
The Irish Independent reports that the call has been published in a letter that has been shared with fellow party members.
It is reported that the group are looking for someone who can lead the way forward and help the party reclaim its identity as well as deal with what they describe as their devious Government partners.
